Leader Message – Aiman

Mr. Muhammad Aiman Bin Mohammad Nizar
Deputy Secretary - WPF Malaysia

It is my honor to welcome all distinguished delegates, scholars, and leaders to World Philosophy Day 2025 in Kuala Lumpur. This gathering is more than a celebration — it is a reminder of our shared responsibility to face complexity with wisdom, compassion, and relevance. This year’s theme, “Philosophy & Leadership: Navigating a Complex World with Ethical Governance,” reminds us that leadership cannot depend on authority alone. It must be guided by philosophy — a compass that points us toward truth, balance, and dignity.

Malaysia is proud to once again serve as a meeting point for diverse traditions. The inclusion of Al-Quranic Philosophy affirms that true progress is rooted in values which elevate humanity, encourage innovation, and promote justice. We also honor the late Dato’ Philosopher Prof. Dr. Halo-N Badii’uzzaman, whose vision made this movement possible. He showed that philosophy is not abstract theory but a living guide that shapes leaders and keeps knowledge relevant for every generation. His legacy echoes Qur’anic principles: to accept truth sincerely, to deliberate with care, and to seek knowledge continuously.

These values remind us that philosophy is not confined to discourse but must shape the choices we make in governance, institutions, and daily life. May this celebration inspire us all to think deeply, act wisely, and lead ethically — so that philosophy continues to guide humanity toward peace, prosperity, and shared purpose.
